Good Branding = Happy Customers

I get seriously excited when I see a company I interact with on the daily do something cool with their designs. Let's be real, I am 95% more likely to at least try a new product or service if they have good branding.
I'm a Google fan normally, but I am a vocal Google fan with they have an especially neat, usually interactive, Google Doodle. Yesterday's Doodle was for the 37th Anniversary of Komodo National Park. Look how cute!

It was also a quiz about Komodo Dragons...which happen to be one of my favorite animals to see at zoos. For some reason, I like all the animals that I'm not aren't allowed to/I can't afford to have as pets.

Google Play also celebrated its 5th birthday by sending this festive throwback of the top 5 apps, games, movies, books and music from the past 5 years. Below this was a blue version of the graphic with a $5 off books over $5 promotion. Notice how they incorporate the logo colors in the cake? That's branding without shoving the logo in your face! Although they did add the logo...but I digress.

On another note, Bodybuilding.com is my go-to for fitness and nutrition insight. They currently have a cool promotion and an even cooler graphic for 25% off top protein products. Utilizing the Bodybuilding blue, a strong sleek san serif type, cute illustrations of shaker bottles, and making variations for different applications really make this graphic a win. Doesn't it make you want to be Bodybuilding lean and strong?! I definitely got excited to use my Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein Powder today!
